No one can excel in things of the Spirit above his or her commitment to develop spiritually through the study of God’s word and by prayer.  For this reason, all students are encouraged to maintain a personal Bible study schedule as well as personal and family prayer life.  Students are encouraged to be involved in all night prayers once a month on the college campus, participate in fasting once a month for their ministry and personal growth.  It is mandatory that students be actively involved in a local church ministry such as Sunday School teaching, worship leadership, choir, evangelism program, care ministry among the disadvantaged, etc.

A weekend Practical Ministry log is maintained in the College office to document all practical activities of the students’ experience.  Also, senior students are assigned to special ministries for the purpose of gaining a targeted experience that would enhance their future work.

DRESS CODE

Modesty in dressing is compulsory.  All students are encouraged to wear attire that befits the ministry.  No provocative dress style is allowed for both male and female.  Where in doubt consultation with the Dean is advised.

Scholarship through Church sponsorship is encouraged.  Students who desire the College administration to conference with their Church leadership concerning sponsorship must submit the necessary information at the time of the initial application.

The New Covenant Christian Ministries has partial Ministry-Work study program for students who cannot raise all their support. This apply to residential students only.
